Funeral over at last, the cemetery now got to work putting Big Bad John to rest. It had been a very long day.

I'm a divorced mom of two adult children. I live with my daughter and our cats. I have four grandchildren all of whom live in Utah. I love the Internet because there is so much information accessible and so many things to do. There is no excuse for ignorance when the answers can be found so readily.

I fell away from my blogs for a bit but am trying to get actively writing again, even if not daily.

Guess that would make for a long day! :D And I thought they'd just left Big John at the bottom of the mine.
You're doing a fine job with the microficton. Some weeks are easier than others and not everyone will agree which is which. I'm thrilled that I helped to stir those creative juices and am happy you've become a part of Succinctly Yours.
I actually liked your first one...I thought it sounded so official! This one is excellent as well...I'm thinking Big John is veeerrry big, 'cause that's a huge hole! :)
Thanks, everyone. I was actually going for something similar to a realistic news release on the first one. As for Big Bad John being at the bottom of the mine, I think this was his son. Thanks, Grandma. It's kind of fun coming up with something with each photo.
