Nice microFiction, SJG. I agree with the first, we just returned and got the royal treatment from our Adi and Katrin.

Our dog is jubilant, if we return after five minutes. He really hates to be alone.
I've now got a whole new perspective on one-way. Perfect!
Love this. I hadn't thought of that, but the face of furry kid in the photo does resemble the happiness my two Labs (mixes) show whenever we arrive home. :)
Ah yes, a dog is always pleased when you come home!
