Lavender - Succinctly Yours June 13

This week's Succinctly Yours - this is the pic Grandma of Grandma's Goulash provided for Monday, June 13th. Each week we are given a different photo from which to create a "story" of 140 characters or less.

Word Of The Week:
lavender

As the geese looked out over the majestic blue waters, they were totally oblivious to the fields of blooming lavender behind them.

What a lovely microfiction statement on perspective.

I'm not sure why the Linky wasn't showing for you, Wendy. But I've added your link to the list.

Lovely use of the word of the week. Being water fowl, I suppose geese don't care much about lavender...lol.

I liked this one.

Liked this. The geese are probably more concerned with blue water, but missing the lavender in the process.

Sounds like I great opening. Now I want to know what they were looking at that made them oblivious.
