Lavender - Succinctly Yours June 13
This week's Succinctly Yours - this is the pic Grandma of Grandma's Goulash provided for Monday, June 13th. Each week we are given a different photo from which to create a "story" of 140 characters or less.
Word Of The Week: lavender
As the geese looked out over the majestic blue waters, they were totally oblivious to the fields of blooming lavender behind them.
Location: Near Philadelphia, New Jersey, United States
I'm a divorced mom of two adult children. I live with my daughter and our cats. I have four grandchildren all of whom live in Utah. I love the Internet because there is so much information accessible and so many things to do. There is no excuse for ignorance when the answers can be found so readily. I will have advertising posted via Blogsvertise for which I hope to receive compensation. I will try to keep the ads within my own personal comfort range.
I fell away from my blogs for a bit but am trying to get actively writing again, even if not daily.

What a lovely microfiction statement on perspective.
I'm not sure why the Linky wasn't showing for you, Wendy. But I've added your link to the list.
Lovely use of the word of the week. Being water fowl, I suppose geese don't care much about lavender...lol.
I liked this one.
I enjoyed this! I like the word picture you painted.
Liked this. The geese are probably more concerned with blue water, but missing the lavender in the process.
Ah yes, blue waters would captivate them, Lovely piece of imagery here.
Sounds like I great opening. Now I want to know what they were looking at that made them oblivious.
